Attractions and Recreational Opportunities
There is plenty to do within a short drive of our developments. San Isidro is nearby, one of the largest cities outside the central valley, complete with many shopping opportunities and big box stores.

In Golfito, just a bit south of Ojochal, there is a duty free shopping zone with a large selection of international goods and Panama is only a couple of hours drive south.

For natural attractions, there are many local public and private parks and reserves offering guided and self guided hiking trails.  There are countless opportunities for horse back riding, canopy tours, zip line tours, nature watching, surfing, snorkeling, diving, tree climbing, wind surfing and other adventure travel opportunities.

Those interested in a more relaxed routine can walk on the beach, lay in the sun, kayak, canoe, sport fish, take a bus tour, take a helicopter or ultra-lite aircraft tour, visit a local butterfly farm or just shop in a nearby duty free zone.  There is plenty to do, at a more relaxed pace and at bargain prices.  The area is also the home to a large number of great restaurants, bars and hotels.
